I have recently returned from India where I taught sewing to a group of girls at an orphanage. These children have had terrible lives where they have been forced into child labour, abandoned, abused or sold to pay family debts. Although I'm a Costume Designer and Dressmaker, I’m currently organising an event to raise money for these children to help them with their futures.
I hope you can come and join us for a fun evening on the 7th of April at The Hollywood Cinema in Avondale. Food will be supplied by Little India, all tickets sold will go into a prize draw and prior to the film there will be an art auction. Your donation and support will make a big difference to these childrens lives.
