COSTUME AND DRESSMAKING
Cathy is an experienced dressmaker and can tailor make anything from
cocktail dresses, complex costumes, to re-inventing your favourite thread
bare dress. She is also an experienced costume designer, costume maker,
fashion stylist and personal shopper.
If you're looking for something for a special occasion (wedding or party dress) or something you can't find in a shop, Cathy can custom make any style of garment to fit you perfectly to suit your style and figure. She can also copy an existing garment that you may have worn out and she can make a garment from a picture.
With a good eye for style, colour and shape, Cathy will discuss all of these elements of a garment with you in a consultation. She can make anything from wedding dresses to a tailored suit.
If you need help selecting the right fabric Cathy can go shopping with you to help make the experience easier.
A consultation fee of $40 is deducted from your garment should you decide to have something made. I will provide a full quotation in this meeting.

Cathy Pope did a wonderful styling job for me when I appeared on the Television show "Singing Bee". I am difficult to dress (I feel) , as I am petite,and not quite as slim as I used to be!!.. and Cathy managed to make me look amazing in every outfit she supplied. She met me first, and soon came up with just the right style of outfit, and I went on the show feeling fantastic and very comfortable with the fact that I looked really good.
